Employment Opportunities with the EMA
Thank you for the interest with our agency. We are proud of the work we get to do for the citizens, first responders and all other partners of Jefferson County.

When an active job opportunity comes open, we'll post that information on this page. Please be advised, however, that our office relies on the Jefferson County Personnel Board to facilitate the application process. We will not accept any resumes or applications that are sent directly to our office.
On occasion, we are able to bring Interns into our program. Internships are unpaid positions within our agency.

Interns will shadow their adviser (one of our EM Officers) and assist with various projects. Additionally, they will get opportunities to engage in training classes offered by our organization.
